- ISEB Foundation certificate an advantage
You Report to:
Testing Team Leader
Your Job Purpose
- To ensure the quality of MDS products complies with company quality standards through the participation in the daily testing activities of systems developed by MDS.
- These activities include testing new systems, new versions of existing systems or customer specific implementations.
Your Company Training (if required)
Company Induction
Your Responsibilities:
- Gaining product knowledge – dise3G core modules (e.g. Subscriber Management, Workflow Management etc.)
- Gaining commercial and business awareness – awareness of processes and procedures at departmental level (i.e. Quality Assurance)
- Test Execution tasks - testing software, recording results, incident logging and retests (manual/automated as appropriate to role)
- Test Preparation tasks (by change request) – test workshops/planning, data requirements, test case creation (Test Specification creation/automated script creation as appropriate to role)
- Test Planning tasks (by Project) – devising approach (consideration of related change request)
- Documentation reviews – peer reviews (test documentation), requirement and design reviews.
- Test Metrics – producing test metrics for own change requests
- Developing ‘Lead Test Analyst’ skills – taking overall responsibility for testing objectives and managing own work effectively to ensure these objectives are met
- Mentoring – assisting junior team members with testing skills/MDS product suite. Providing UAT Support to customers.

Salary Range:
£22,000 - £24,000
