The Test Team is central to delivering projects to a high level of Quality and ensuring the requirements are met for all MDS products and customer-facing projects, enabling the company to meet and exceed the strategic goals. You will work with different departments to ensure that you have a clear definition of what is meant by "Quality" and how we measure this throughout the project life cycle. By delivering quality solutions on time and within budget you will see the rewards in delighting our customers and enhancing and expanding our product set.

Life as a Senior Pre Sales Consultant at MDS

Being a Test Analyst within MDS is very challenging yet rewarding. You will be expected to understand the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and will be responsible for initially identifying and subsequently defining the required tests. Then for monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experience.  This role also involves specifying the required test data and evaluating the outcome of the testing conducted in each test cycle.

As Test Analysts, we assume overall responsibility and accountability for the quality of testing deliverables, ensuring that the team maintain a shared vision of the goal.  You will be expected to take responsibility for your own personal development in line with the agreed annual performance objectives.  Reporting and communication is a key aspect of the job and requires a heavy focus on the testing estimates to ensure we remain on schedule and to budget.  As well as manual, functional testing of our products, we also have opportunities to work with Automation software, performance tests, security tests and other testing tools to help met our targets and goals.

The Test Team within MDS also support other testing activities within the project. We may be required to help our customers perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) and Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT). These test phases allow us the opportunity to work closely with our customer to ensure their end to end business processes are met and the final solution is fit for purpose.
