dise3G Shortlisted for Best Converged Billing Award

Warrington, UK, 13th March 2007 – Martin Dawes Systems, an international provider of billing, customer care and business assurance solutions for the communications market, has been selected as a finalist in the Convergence World Awards under the Best Converged Billing Product category. 

This accolade is yet another highlight for Martin Dawes Systems in 2007, following their World Billing Award 06/07, the recent announcement of a new contract with 02 UK and the release of their Convergent Pre-Paid Post-Paid Solution at 3GSM Barcelona in February.

The awards are being launched this year by Convergence World in association with the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) and aims to reward companies that provide technologies or solutions that demonstrate innovation and excellence in driving convergence in Europe.  The independent judging panel consists of executives from the IT/Telecom industry including representatives from the Wi-Fi Alliance and Moriana Group.

“The IEC is delighted to be associated with the Convergence World Awards,” said IEC President John Janowiak.

“The C5 World Forum is the premier event showcasing the convergence of fixed and mobile communications, broadcasting and entertainment, and the awards will recognize the companies driving this convergence forward."

Martin Dawes Systems entered the Best Converged Billing Product category with dise3G, the company’s pre-integrated billing and CRM solution.  The system facilitates production of multi-service, multi-subscription bills to support converged voice, data and content services for fixed, mobile and IP service providers.  The most recent version of dise3G, v3.10, advances its convergent capabilities to include the unification of prepay and postpay onto a single platform.
