Latest Martin Dawes Systems Research Explores Impact of Mobile Internet on UK Subscribers
Warrington, UK, 26th November 2007 - Martin Dawes Systems has commissioned new research into mobile subscriber attitudes towards new social networking and voice over IP (VoIP) services. The research explores potential take-up of these new services and provide insights into how mobile service providers can respond most effectively.
A full analysis of the research, which was conducted by online market researchers SSI and polled over 1000 mobile telephony users (businesses and consumers in the UK) , will be available shortly.
This 2007 study follows the 2006 Mobile Customer Attitudes survey on fixed mobile convergence commissioned by Martin Dawes System.
Barry Dowd, Customer Support Director, Martin Dawes Systems, said:
“Our annual survey seeks to build our understanding of what subscribers really want from their communications service, thereby enabling us to better support and assist our customers in building their businesses. This year’s survey explores users’ attitudes toward mobility and the emerging impact of Web 2.0. What’s particularly interesting is that early indications paint a very complex picture of how social networking and VoIP are influencing end users."
