BPE: Business Process Engine


BPE, in conjunction with a billing and CRM system, allows network operators and service providers to seamlessly integrate e-commerce and service provisioning operations with existing back-office and fulfilment systems.

Seamlessly integrate online sales into your business: An open and flexible architecture allows you to quickly and easily integrate your web shop with your CRM and provisioning system. During order processing, new accounts and subscriptions can be automatically added to the CRM system. The status of each order can be visible through the CRM system, allowing customer services to view each stage in the processing of an order.

Handle orders in line with your business processes: BPE orchestrates the order process steps according to your business processes. Separate business processes can be defined for different types of orders (eg for an order that needs an account and subscription to be created; or an order that only requests the supply of hardware items).

Manage credit control and handle online payments: Some order processes may need the credit rating of the customer to be assessed. BPE can perform credit checks to an external credit reference system and automatically process the order based on the returned credit score. In the case of declined or marginal credit checks, the order can be referred to your credit control team for resolution. When the credit control problem has been resolved the customer service agent can instruct the system to continue progressing the order as normal. BPE can facilitate credit and debit card payments and the set-up of recurring payments and direct debit instructions.
